Each song was written and (for better or worse) recorded in one session. 
There was no mixing. 
Every note was recorded next to my mattress, bathtub or bidet. 
Alone.

If it matters - the weather outside was either blistering hot or snowing. 
I used one microphone and 17 ashtrays. 
These songs saved what is left of my life. 
I never intended for you to hear them like this. 
But, I’m glad that you will.
